John Blaq Cautions Upcoming Singers Against Signing Record Label Contracts

Musician John Blaq is advising upcoming artists to be very careful when it comes to signing contracts with record labels. He urges them not to rush into these agreements despite the excitement of pursuing fame.

John Blaq, who has never officially signed with a record label, says his past issues with his former management made him realize how risky contracts can be for young artists.

According to John Blaq, he could have been in a much worse situation if he had signed any binding agreement with his previous management.

In a TV interview, the “Ebyos” hitmaker advised rising artists to take their time and fully understand the contracts before committing their careers to any label.

He stated, “To all my fellow artists, especially those starting out, please don’t rush to sign contracts with record labels. I know there’s always excitement and love for being a star, but please be careful. If I had signed a contract with my old management, I’m sure I wouldn’t be using the name John Blaq now,”.

John Blaq explained that many labels include clauses that could prevent artists from using their brand names, music rights, and even limit their creative freedom.

His warning has resonated with many upcoming musicians online, and many agree that bad contracts have ruined more careers than they have helped.
