Zizo Papa

Matovu Reagan, known as Zizo Papa "Owempaka," hails from Mityana District and now resides in Nansana, Wakiso. Emerging from a humble background, Zizo Papa is the first musician in his family to record in a studio. He was raised by his mother, Mrs. Nasimbwa Sarah, after his father passed away during his early school years.

Zizo Papa's musical journey began in the school choir at St. Lucia Hill Namagoma. He honed his skills under the tutelage of Paul Saka and Hellena Nanjego, a passion he pursued throughout his schooling, often on bursary. Initially inspired by the dream of emulating Dr. Jose Chameleone, Zizo Papa discovered his unique vocal style and artistic direction. Today, he captivates audiences with his distinct blend of Band and Zouk music.
