Wyne Nelly

Wyne Nelly, born Atiku Nelson, discovered his musical passion early, influenced by his father's encouragement to learn piano and harp. Growing up amidst Uganda's vibrant Caribbean beats, his innate talent was recognized by his parents. He honed his skills in a Catholic Church choir, later gaining local acclaim for his singing, instrumental prowess, and dramatic performances at the "Ediofe and Lodonga vicariates music and drama festival." Driven by his ambition, Wyne Nelly relocated to Kampala to pursue his music career. While he excels in dancehall and Afro dancehall, he is a versatile artist who draws inspiration from Ugandan stars like Jamal and Allan Toniks, as well as international artists such as J Balvin, Jason Derulo, and Luis Fonsi.
