Wyk Winz

Wyk Winz, born Kubula Wycliff Lukubya, is a Ugandan singer and songwriter hailing from Nakabira, Buyende District. His musical journey began in school, where he also honed his skills in cricket and miming.

Wyk's passion for music ignited early, but it was in high school that he seriously considered a career in the industry. He recorded his first hit single, "Byadala," with his school peers in the group White Angels. After releasing another track, "Nteleza," the group eventually disbanded.

Embarking on a solo career, Wyk released his debut solo project, "Weekend." All his music has been produced by Busoga's renowned producer, Romeo Beats. He describes his sound as Urban R&B, drawing inspiration from the success of the East African duo Radio and Weasel. Wyk believes his solo venture has brought positive changes and is now setting his sights on the international music scene.
