WYclef Cabana

Musinguzi Wycliff, professionally known as WYclef Cabana, is a multifaceted Ugandan artist. A singer, songwriter, actor, and businessman, he is also a dedicated professional teacher. WYclef Cabana gained significant recognition following the release of his hit single "Abooki."

His musical journey began under the stage name WYclef De Warren, with early releases like "Yenze was Yenze." He later founded the Purity band with schoolmates and performed with the Kibz Band. During a period of rebranding, he adopted the name WYclef Cabana, coinciding with the success of "Abooki."

WYclef Cabana's music is a vibrant fusion of Afro-beats, Dancehall, and R&B, often sung in Luganda mixed with English and his native Runyoro. His latest work includes the track "Takimala," featuring DJ Kash Pro.
