WJ De King

WJ De King, born Wonklok James, is an award-winning South Sudanese musician and International Ambassador for Save the Children International, South Sudan Office. Hailing from Torit, he is a renowned and respected artist in Juba. Despite enduring civil war and his past as a child soldier, WJ De King has maintained an unwavering passion and determination for music.

His professional music journey began in 2005 with the group Freedom Boys, followed by Lokwilili Kingdom, which he now leads. He is widely recognized as "WJ De King of Lokwilili." WJ De King has collaborated with prominent Ugandan artists including Jose Chameleon, Radio & Weasle, Ziza Bafana, and Dr. Hilderman, among others. He is currently signed to Rock Star Records and Promotions, a leading entertainment company in South Sudan.
