Wisdom Boy, born Draga Joel, hails from the Bunyoro region with ancestral roots in Arua district. He discovered his passion for music early on, honing his craft while still in school. With the support of a kind-hearted producer, he began releasing early tracks under the name Raka Vamilo.

Inspired by the captivating sounds of Tanzanian bongo music and the smooth vocals of artists like Harmonize, Diamond, and Alikiba, Wisdom Boy underwent a musical transformation. He dedicated himself to refining his vocal style, embracing melodious singing in Swahili and English, and ultimately adopting his current moniker, Wisdom Boy.

His journey led to a significant collaboration with a South African artist, sparked by a chance encounter on Facebook. After sharing a vocal sample, a musical partnership blossomed, resulting in their hit song "Impilo," a poignant exploration of life's struggles. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in Wisdom Boy's career, representing his most cherished and impactful creation to date.
