Wake, born Mugoda Gordons, is a Ugandan Hip-hop artist and spoken word poet deeply rooted in his African heritage. Hailing from the Bugwere tribe in Eastern Uganda, he channels his passion into inspiring the continent's youth to embrace their identity and origins with pride. Wake has graced stages like La Ba! Festival, Fete de La Musique, and Pearl Rhythm Festival, sharing his compelling music and poetry, including the notable track "Abantu B’eira."
