WAADE, formerly known as Brian Wade, is a Ugandan rapper celebrated for a flow as slick as Lecrae or Trip Lee. With a unique style and a smooth, flexible delivery, Waade navigates diverse genres and eras. He is on a journey to become a world-class hip hop act and one of Africa's most talented rappers.

Waade is a prolific artist with numerous music projects to his name. He has collaborated with artists from Zambia, Nigeria, Malawi, and South Africa. Waade also plays a significant role in his music production, handling the mixing and mastering of most of his tracks.

Commanding a dedicated following, Waade continues to rise and inspire younger artists in the rap game. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Elephant Records, his self-founded independent label, and the founder of the Give Back Foundation, a nonprofit organization that uses hip hop art and resources to empower, inspire, and bring hope to communities.

Waade's artistic journey began at fifteen, inspired by a wide range of music, with a particular draw to hip hop. An opportunity to record in a friend's makeshift studio in Rukungiri, western Uganda, allowed him to hone his writing and rapping skills.
