Van Data

Aine Isaiah, known professionally as Van Data, is an artist dedicated to integrating music with Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). He is a prominent ambassador in campaigns against teenage pregnancy and has contributed significantly to various SRHR initiatives through his music.

Growing up in Kampala and Mbarara, Van Data's passion for music began at a young age. He honed his skills in a children's band, mastering instruments like the piano, keyboard, guitar, and drums. His musical journey continued with various bands before he formed a duo and eventually launched his solo career.

Van Data's career highlights include representing Africa with the Ma’Africa Band at the World Social Forum in Brazil, performing for an audience of over 150,000. He has also been recognized as a champion for youth in the fight against teenage pregnancies and early marriage. Notably, he spearheaded the creation of the award-winning song "Hold On," a powerful SRHR anthem.

His discography features a diverse range of engaging tracks, including hits like "Olimuyaye" and "China," as well as collaborations with prominent artists.
