Try, born Mark Okello, is an emerging Ugandan singer-songwriter whose soulful melodies are making waves. Hailing from Lira but shaped by his formative years in Kampala and Mukono, Try's journey into music was deeply influenced by his Christian upbringing, where praise and worship songs filled his early life. The gift of a guitar at sixteen ignited his passion, allowing him to hone his songwriting skills and envision a future as a recording artist.

Prioritizing his education, Try is now in his final semester pursuing a degree in procurement and logistics management.
