Stoner Montana

Stoner Montana, also known as Ayella Rogers, is a Ugandan artist driven by a passion for Hip-hop. His musical journey began in high school, mimicking Eminem, which soon evolved into writing his own lyrics in Luo and English. This creativity led to a co-written song that won "Best Original Composition" for his school club, earning him a recording session.

Later, he co-founded the music group ARENA RAPPERS, releasing the popular northern Ugandan track "Talk to We." This success opened doors to numerous rap battles and awards, including a finalist position at the prestigious Kadanke.

Emerging from a brief hiatus, Stoner Montana released the Afro-hiphop single "Bina Kany," followed by the widely acclaimed hit "Akello," a poignant song resonating with many. He further pushed boundaries with the unique Luo trap club banger "Straight Up," a groundbreaking track in the region. His talent was recognized when he was selected to represent Northern Uganda at the HIPHOPBOOTCAMP.

Currently, Stoner Montana is collaborating with Huntlyf Music on a campaign against child abuse, and is also preparing to release a new solo single recorded at Port Bell Drive Studios.
