About

Star Habiibz, also known as Finest Icon, is a multi-talented African hip-hop artist, rapper, songwriter, events MC, actor, and filmmaker from Kampala, Uganda. He is a member of the award-winning film company Zubair Family, with acting credits in popular productions like "Ndi Mulokore/I'm a Born Again" and the TV series "Kamu Kamu" on BBS TV Uganda.

As a solo musician, Star Habiibz gained significant exposure with his 2017 single "Mbahi Booty." He followed this success with the widely played collaboration "Ekibaala" featuring Famous Ug, which earned extensive airplay across national radio and TV. This momentum fueled the release of inspiring tracks such as "Zero to Hero," "Knowing You" (featuring Makerere University All-stars), and "Books Never Lie."

Beyond his artistic endeavors, Star Habiibz is a dedicated advocate, serving as the brand ambassador for Hunger Fighters Uganda (HFU), an NGO committed to combating hunger among vulnerable communities. He is also the CEO of "Yalabana," a project that uses entertainment to educate the public, particularly the vulnerable, about their human rights.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences at Makerere University, Star Habiibz has a history of leadership and recognition, including serving as the Information Minister for the East African Community Students at Makerere University and writing the farewell song for Makerere University grandaunts.

Despite his rising stardom, Star Habiibz remains grounded, weaving a blend of lyrical prowess and prophetic poetry that resonates deeply and offers solace to listeners.
