Solome Basuuta

Solome Basuuta, also known as "The Queen of Love," is a singer, songwriter, and performing artist whose music is a heartfelt exploration of love. Her musical journey began in her youth with classical vocal training in her school choir. Throughout her education and early career, she honed her skills as a music director, worship leader, and backing vocalist, participating in various productions and concerts.

She first graced Uganda's music scene as a backing vocalist for Maurice Kirya, later becoming the lead vocalist for Pragmo Jazz Band, where she developed her jazz and soul singing abilities. Solome emerged as a solo artist with her debut ten-track album, "The Song Love," released to a sold-out concert. She has since performed at notable events like Qwela Junction, Comedy Meets Music, and Blankets & Wine.

Solome's passion is to convey a message of love and self-worth to her audience. She is currently working on her project, "Song of Solome," an in-depth exploration of love in its many forms, with the first single, "Can We Stay," receiving significant airplay. Her live performances are amplified by her band, The LOVE Band, dedicated to spreading her message through soulful, interactive shows.
