Slate Nation

Ngot Peter Mou Athuai, famously known as Slate Nation, is a South Sudanese-born, Australia-based artist and songwriter. Hailing from Thiet, a suburb of Tonj State, Slate Nation's musical journey began as a choir member at Don Bosco Missionary School.

He later formed the music group T.E.C Hiroz, releasing their first song dedicated to those displaced by the civil war. Slate Nation achieved a significant breakthrough with his hit song "Juba Juice." His international reach expanded with a collaboration with Ugandan dancehall artist Pallaso.

Slate Nation's talent has been recognized with numerous accolades, including Fans Choice Awards, Best Male Artist, People's Choice Awards, Best Collabo, and Best Song of the Year honors. He has also received awards for Song of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Dancehall Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Video of the Year.
