Silver Xtra

Silver X, a prominent artist, first emerged with his album *Binia Lotuko*. He later founded the musical group *New Sudan Superstars*. Since establishing his presence in Juba, Silver X has released several impactful albums. His second album, *Wasaaka Bataal* (meaning "rubbish is bad"), was sponsored by an NGO to promote hygiene and sanitation awareness. He followed this with *Sudan Belade Saeem*, an album supported by the Ministry of Health.

Silver X's fame quickly spread across South Sudan, northern Uganda, and Khartoum. His album *Fattisu Shockoal* (translating to "searching for a job") resonated deeply with youth facing unemployment and became a widely played song, earning song of the year accolades. He continued to release acclaimed work, including *Wele*, which was recognized as the "Voice of the People" song of the year and won at the SSOSA music awards. Subsequent releases include *Masura*, *Carolina*, *Ana Bi Wori*, and *Dunia Karabu*.

His international reach expanded with the release of the music video *East African Lover*, a collaboration with Kenyan singer Rennee. Silver X has been recognized as South Sudan's best international singer by the Global Music Awards in the USA.
