Shek Mg

Turyabibasa Shekem, known professionally as Shek Mg, is an Akiga flow rapper hailing from Kabale, the "Switzerland of Africa." Recognized as one of the top five rappers in his district, Shek Mg has honed his craft in various studios including U_Records, Jazz Production, Mtk Records, and Songwayne Studios. His musical journey began during his school days, leading to his debut track "Kabasco," a tribute to his alma mater.

Shek Mg's career has also seen him transition into radio, previously working with K.Town Radio and currently as a presenter with Peak Fm Kabale, where he is known as "The Magma." He boasts a catalog of nine hit songs that have resonated throughout the Kigezi region, including popular tracks like "Amagara," "Obwezi," and "Nyereka."
