About

Sheebah Karungi is a celebrated Ugandan recording artist, dancer, and actress. Her acting debut was in the film *Queen of Katwe* as Shakira. After leaving the dance group Obsessions, she gained widespread recognition with her hit single "Ice Cream." This success led to the release of her commercially successful debut EP, also titled *Ice Cream*. Sheebah has also proudly represented Uganda on Coke Studio Africa on multiple occasions.

Born and raised in Kawempe, Kampala, Sheebah's journey began with a passion for dance. She started performing at a young age, eventually joining the dance group Obsessions, where her interest in music blossomed. After leaving the group to pursue a solo career, she released her first official single, "Kunyenyenza." Her solo career experienced a significant breakthrough with the release of the hit song "Automatic," followed by the massively popular "Ice Cream."
