Samy Andona, a Zaki Lugbara artist born in the DRC and raised in the vibrant ghettos of Kampala, Uganda, is a multifaceted talent. A recording artist, rapper, songwriter, and fashionista, he credits his grandmother for his upbringing and often speaks of having two mothers, acknowledging the profound influence of both his grandmother and birth mother, who worked tirelessly to support his education.

Possessing a rare combination of a medical degree and a gift for music, Samy Andona stands out as a highly educated musician in Africa. He is also a linguistic virtuoso, fluent in numerous languages including French, Lingala, Luganda, and English, allowing him to connect with audiences across East and West Africa.

His musical prowess spans diverse genres, masterfully blending dancehall, Afro-pop, and rap. Samy Andona's unique Lugaflow style is infused with influences from Bongo and Lingala rap. His passion for music ignited in secondary school, inspired by artists like Radio and Weasel, Wiz Khalifa, Gravity Omutujju, Feffe Bussi, and Fik Fameica.

After honing his craft in studios during school breaks, Samy Andona officially launched his music career post-university. His debut project, produced by Artin Pro and T.O.N Beats, showcased his distinctive rap style and fashion sense, particularly with his breakout Lingala-titled single, "KITA."
