Robert Marshal

Robert Marshal is a celebrated ragga and reggae musician hailing from Uganda. Known for his infectious dancehall rhythms, he has captivated audiences across Africa, particularly following the widespread success of his anthem "Maama Africa." Marshal's music, sung in Luganda, English, and Swahili, often features memorable catchphrases that resonate deeply with his fans.

His musical journey began as a DJ before transitioning to recording. Marshal's early career saw him signed to Leone Island, a prominent record label, and he later collaborated with the renowned Kenyan label Ogopa DJs, which produced the hit "Maama Africa." His music has enjoyed significant airplay on East African television and radio.

Based in Holland, Marshal continues to release new projects, showcasing his evolution as an artist. He has released several successful albums, including "Maama Africa," "Ntalabuusi," and "Oh Woman." Following a brief hiatus, he returned with a string of popular dancehall tracks like "Ntalabuusi," "Pembe," and "Oh Woman," often referred to as "Owooma." He has also collaborated with numerous prominent Ugandan and East African artists, further solidifying his status in the music scene.

Marshal is a proud father to a daughter from his relationship with his Dutch partner, and they reside together in Holland.
