Rick Roy

RickRoy, born Walusimbi John, is a Ugandan vocalist who began his musical journey at a young age. He first entered the Ugandan music scene with Fire-base Entertainment, later joining Big Talent.

RickRoy's debut single, "Silikyusa," garnered significant airplay and built a substantial fanbase. His collaboration with Dr. Bitone, "Mbalababulabi," quickly went viral, solidifying his popularity and appearing on numerous playlists. He continued to release impactful singles, including "Salapio" and the mega-hit "Wekyakalire," which dominated playlists across Uganda and received widespread media attention. His solo project, the video for "Osanzandaba," further showcased his distinctive musical style. RickRoy's recent single, "Loveyo," has also achieved significant success. He is currently working on an album featuring international artists and producers, set to be released under his record label, ExtremeGang.
