Red

Red is a dynamic music trio comprised of Edrine Mukwaya (Edrine Bronx), Yiga Johnson (Mickey), and Ntabazi Kazz Alexander (Alex). Their shared passion for music ignited during their school days, where they actively participated in various entertainment programs, showcasing their talents in breakdancing, singing, and rapping. These early experiences, coupled with their encounters at music exhibitions and parties, fueled their decision to officially form Red and pursue their musical aspirations.

Red specializes in urban music genres, seamlessly blending pop, hip-hop, dancehall, and Afropop. Their debut album features a diverse range of tracks, including the R&B ballad "Sorry," the pop anthem "Lifetime," and the electrifying electro-dancehall hit "Dancefloor." Other notable songs from their catalog include "Hustle (Hash Tug)," "In the Bank," "Drummer," and "Breakdown." Currently, Red stands as one of East Africa's most promising Afropop groups.

Inspired by global icons like Kendrick Lamar, Usher, Michael Jackson, and Mafikizolo, as well as local legends Chameleone and Afrigo Band, Red's ambition is to foster positive change through their music. They strive to create impactful songs driven by honesty, kindness, and love.
