Record Elah

Makumbi Ashraf, professionally known as Record Elah, is a Ugandan Ragga and Dancehall recording artist based in Kampala. Growing up in the Makindye suburb of Kampala, his musical journey began early. Record Elah pursued his education at Walukuba Community Center, Nkoyoyo Boarding Primary School, and Jinja Secondary School. He further honed his craft at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya, graduating with a first-class degree in Music, Dance, and Drama.
