Ray Kay Rorash

Ray Kay Rorash, born Bamwenda Rorash, is a multi-talented artist hailing from Kampala, Uganda. A journalist, songwriter, composer, recording and performing artist, and vocalist, Ray Kay Rorash has a passion for music that began in his youth. He first performed with a school choir in his hometown of Ntungamu, later honing his skills as a choir leader in church from a young age.

His musical journey officially began with the release of his debut song, "Elinya Lyo Mukama." This was followed by "Charay A One," a charming song penned for his love life. Ray Kay Rorash's songwriting prowess extends to inspiring tracks like "Witness" and "Pamga," which encourage hard work, and "Caterpillar," a relatable anthem about transitioning to city life.

The success of "Caterpillar" propelled Ray Kay Rorash to prominence in his home region before he moved to Kampala. In the capital, he continued to produce hits and was subsequently invited to join the renowned 24MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT label. There, he collaborated with the label's CEO, 24Music Trekofficia, on the widely recognized love song "Ntuse Okwekyawa." This deeply personal track, penned by Trekofficia with lyrical assistance from Ray Kay Rorash, tells a compelling story.
