Rashy K

Rashid Kibirige Ssebunya, known professionally as Rashy K, is a prolific Artist and Producer hailing from Kampala, Uganda. He has consistently delivered projects since 2009, including mixtapes, videos, and singles.

Beyond his music, Rashy K is an Entrepreneur, leading his own record label, RUSH GANG AFFILIATES. He also co-founded UNLIMITED GUIDANCE, a community organization dedicated to youth empowerment.

His musical journey began in Sweden, where encouragement from classmates led him to explore the studio. Initially driven by a desire to defy stereotypes, he remixed Rick Ross's "Push It," sharing it with friends and eventually uploading it to YouTube, where it gained popularity in his hometown.

Rashy K's debut mixtape, "BUSINESS TRIALS VOL1," released in 2010, resonated strongly with an older audience. This success paved the way for "BUSINESS TRIALS VOL 2," for which he produced 200 CDs for local distribution. The mixtape garnered significant attention, leading to a feature on local radio station P4 Västmanland following his participation in an entrepreneurship competition. He was awarded a Great Persona Development Diploma and later performed at a Kristdemokraterna political seminar.

In 2012, Rashy K released "HUNGER N GREED," a collaborative mixtape with fellow artists Shawney and Skander. This was followed by his "ON LOCK" mixtape, which he described as a demonstration of veteran-level flow and lyricism from a rookie. The sequel, "HUNGER N GREED 2," was released with Shawney.

Rashy K has shared stages with a diverse range of Swedish, Ugandan, and international artists, including GovernorAndy, Labrinth, Pase, Panetoz, Anthony B, and Gentleman.
