Rama Icon

Rama Icon, born Trevor Kavuma, is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, actor, and video director. Known for his dancehall and pop vocals, he excels in popular music.

Raised in humble beginnings in Kawempe and Nansana-Katooke, Rama Icon's childhood was marked by his parents' divorce and a challenging upbringing with his stepmother. From a young age, he found solace in singing and rapping, inspired by Michael Jackson. He began secretly writing songs as a teenager, driven by a passion for music that wasn't supported at home.

Rama Icon launched his music career by recording his first single, "Dirty Party," with Jethan Records. He later collaborated with Cityboy Acid on "Green Card," both released on his YouTube channel, Rama Icon Music.

While he completed his Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) and pursued his Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE), financial constraints prevented him from attending university.
