Rab J Ekyafaayo

Rab J Ekyafaayo has made a significant impact on the western Ugandan music scene with just a handful of releases. He is widely recognized for his hit songs "Twist" and "Mariat (Mwana WA Hajji)," which have dominated radio waves, television, and captivated audiences across the region. His music is a vibrant fusion of Ugandan folk, ragga, dancehall, Afrobeat, and rap, primarily performed in Rukiga/Runyankole with touches of Luganda.

Rab J Ekyafaayo's journey began in Kampala, where he worked tirelessly to fund his early recordings. Upon returning to western Uganda, he dedicated himself to building his music career. His debut album features popular tracks such as "Oli Ssebo," "Anita," "Nalo," "Twist," and "Mariat."

Currently signed with AGO NATION, a western Ugandan label, Rab J Ekyafaayo continues to achieve success, particularly with his chart-topping songs "Mariat" and "Twist," produced by the talented Riddim K.
