Philly Do

Ologe Philemon Daniel, known professionally as Philly Do, is a dynamic Afrobeat artist, singer, and songwriter hailing from Tororo, Uganda. His passion for music ignited at a young age, captivated by the sounds of South African and Congolese music on the radio. Philly Do penned his first song at fourteen, heavily influenced by the Kapuka and Genge genres from Nairobi. Though he didn't record until later, his creative spirit remained, fueled by friendships and a rediscovered love for lyricism. After years of honing his craft, a pivotal meeting with fellow artist Jay Rabzie inspired Philly Do to pursue music professionally. He is currently preparing to release his EP, 'Year of Grace,' a collection of energetic Ugandan dance music designed to get listeners moving.
