Peter Miles

Peter Miles, also known as Peter Kanyike Miles, hails from a musical family in Entebbe, Uganda. His journey as an African dancehall artist began at a young age. Over the years, he has collaborated with prominent artists from across Africa and beyond, including General Levy and 2face.

Currently recording at his home-based "ROAD BLOCK" studio in Entebbe and with Ogopa DJs in Nairobi, Peter Miles writes and produces his own music. His sound is a vibrant fusion of Ragga/reggae infused with a distinct local African flavor.

Peter Miles has graced stages alongside global superstars such as Shaggy, R. Kelly, and Wyclef Jean, as well as a host of other acclaimed artists at major events across Africa. His performances have also taken him to cities throughout Africa, Europe, and the USA.

A true pioneer, Peter Miles was among the first African artists to be featured on MTV Base Africa and performed at the channel's launch in Uganda. His contributions to music have been recognized with various awards across Africa, including multiple Best Ragga artist/group accolades and Best Ragga dancehall video awards.

He was notably selected as the sole East and Central African artist to perform at the anti-G8 summit concert in Germany, sharing the stage with international music icons. His performance was broadcast on Germany's prime-time television.

Peter Miles is also a brand ambassador for Motorola in Uganda.
