Par Desa

Par Desa, a Ugandan artist, emerged from Mulago with a singular musical talent in his family. Raised with strong Islamic morals, he left Uganda at seventeen for further studies. Unbeknownst to him, his departure coincided with the birth of his daughter, a consequence of a relationship with a fellow student.

Par Desa honed his craft working as a video gaffer for Dr. Jose Chameleon. His musical journey has since blossomed, marked by his number one hit, "Material Ki," which has resonated across Uganda and beyond. He masterfully blends Zouk, Afro Pop, Dancehall, and Reggae, a pioneering fusion in Uganda. His lyrics are a vibrant tapestry, weaving together Luganda, Swahili, Runyankole, Kinyarwanda, Zulu, and Dutch.
