Papo Rhymes

Papo Rhymes, born Ssali Shadiru, discovered his passion for music after initially dreaming of a career in acting. Growing up in Kawempe-Lugoba, his talent blossomed through stage performances and school events, building his confidence. He began writing his own songs at a young age, with early hits like "Waka" and "Ghetto Child" earning him widespread recognition and the nickname "Mr. Kiku." His debut album saw significant success, with a portion of its tracks acquired by Badman Records. Later, Papo Rhymes further honed his skills at Esom School of Music, leading to the release of his critically acclaimed second album, "Big Dreams."
