One Dero

Ssemwezi Derrick, known by his stage name One Dero, is a multifaceted Ugandan talent. He excels as an R&B and Dancehall artist, film actor, model, screenwriter, director, cinematographer, producer, and businessman. Raised in Kampala, Makindye, One Dero also works with Rafiki Theater as an actor and photographer.

His musical catalog features tracks like "Nsigaza Omu," "Dembe," "Osula Wange," and "Lord Have Mercy." Through Rafiki Theater, he has contributed to impactful projects addressing GBV in army camps and peacebuilding between Turkana and Karamoja. On screen, One Dero has appeared in films such as "27Gunz," "Father's Last Cry," and "Taxi 24."
