OMG

Mike Kayongo, known by his stage name OMG (The Music Man), is a Ugandan-born artist based in South Africa. A graduate of Camberwell College of Arts and Science, OMG is a multifaceted talent: father, businessman, health professional, performer, music producer, songwriter, and video editor/director.

His musical journey began in school and church choirs, but a profound dream ignited his passion. In this vision, he was entrusted with a book, pen, and torch, and a divine voice commanded him to "light the world." Since then, songs have flowed effortlessly, each carrying powerful messages designed to touch and transform lives across different languages. OMG has lost count of the songs he's written, as new ones arrive daily.

With hits like the multi-award-winning "KINEKE" and the tribute "My Hero" for Nelson Mandela, OMG has garnered international recognition and awards across Africa and beyond. He is now set to conquer East Africa, starting with his homeland, Uganda, to promote his latest album, "AFRICA," dubbed "Africa's finest." Both CD and DVD are available in stores and online.
