Obiro Sam

Obiro Sam Okiror is an Itesot artist born in Entebbe. He pursued his artistic education with a Bachelor of Industrial and Fine Art from Makerere University, following his primary and secondary studies at St. Savio Junior School, Ndejje SS, and Naalya SS.

A passionate musician, Obiro Sam's love for reggae and dancehall fuels his creative spirit. He is also an avid footballer and swimmer.

As a skilled bamboo artist at Bamboo Kartel, Obiro Sam crafts a diverse range of products, from furniture and decor to accessories and structures.

His musical journey began with the high school group Hit Squad, recording his first single 'Africa' at Valley Curve Records. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with various producers and artists, including Mimo, Hoze Luciano, Wayne Anira, Kelly Man, and the late Ak47, producing notable tracks like '256' and 'Gyal'.

Obiro Sam views music as his heartbeat, driven by a passion for entertainment and a message of love and unity. He is particularly drawn to reggae for its themes of love and peace, and dancehall for its infectious energy and lyrical prowess.
