Nuvey Shawn

Nuvey Shawn is a Ugandan rapper, poet, and songwriter. Born Ayella Robert, he grew up in Kampala and discovered his passion for music at a young age, beginning to freestyle in 2007 as a means of personal expression and growth. Rap quickly became an integral part of his identity.

Currently, Nuvey Shawn is a key member of the recording studio and creative collective G-2 Complex. Within the outfit, he manages online activities and contributes as an in-house creative writer, rapper, poet, and film director, also dabbling in beat making.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Nuvey Shawn is the founder and writer for NuveyLive.org, an online hip-hop and poetry blog. His diverse interests extend to podcasting, web design, graphic design, and editing.

GOLDDUST, real name Kidega Isaac, is a driven artist from Kitintale. He began his rap journey in high school, collaborating with various artists and releasing music. Inspired by the likes of 50 Cent and G-Unit, his writing style and word choices often reflect this influence. GOLDDUST is also a successful businessman and entrepreneur, owning a wine company. His innovative wine, "HEART OF GOLO," and a unique cocktail he invented are gaining recognition for their rich flavor and originality.
