Mugaba

Mugaba is a multi-talented artist from Kigali, Rwanda, who excels as a producer, songwriter, and singer. His musical journey began in childhood, fueled by an insatiable passion. Encouraged by his mother, he honed his vocal talents in the church choir.

Relocating to Kampala, Uganda, Mugaba's dedication to music led him to pursue it full-time, even before completing his university studies. His innate ability to sing, rap, write, and produce simultaneously quickly garnered attention. Akoyo Grace, also known as Afrikane of Cosy Afrikane Productions, recognized his talent and offered him a management contract.

Under Cosy Afrikane Productions, Mugaba produced the hit song "In My Bed," which achieved significant local and international success, earning considerable views on YouTube. He followed this with other successful tracks like "Faya," "Langi," and "Rewind It."

Following his time with Cosy Afrikane Productions, Mugaba released his debut EP, "Better Me." The EP features "Magnet," an infectious collaboration with Ugandan songbird Fille, which received extensive airplay on prominent local radio stations and charted on Galaxy FM.

Demonstrating his global reach, Mugaba participated in the #inmybedversechallenge initiated by American artist/actor Rotimi. He emerged victorious, outperforming numerous talented American rising stars, a feat he noted highlighted the immense potential of artists who are given the right platform and support.

Mugaba is currently focused on creating promotional music videos for his existing work and is actively recording his debut album, set for release.
