Mr Begalu

Mr. Begalu, also known as Lubega Hassan, is an Afrobeat artist hailing from Sembabule, Uganda. Growing up in a large family, his surroundings and the influence of neighbors ignited a deep passion for music. Inspired by artists like Eddy Kenzo and David Lutalo, Mr. Begalu began honing his craft by singing and recording himself on his phone. His talent was further nurtured in his primary school choir.

He launched his recording career with the release of his first single, "Yanimba," followed shortly by the love jam "Loan." Collaborating with fellow artists from Ja Know Media Records, including Dera Keys and Atha Queens, he continued to produce captivating love songs like "My Lover." Mr. Begalu's club banger "Omukwano gwo" quickly gained popularity in clubs and at music events, solidifying his presence in the Afrobeat scene.
