Born in Kampala, Uganda, Muhumuza Samuel, known as MHz Sammyx, is a dynamic performer whose journey is marked by resilience. Growing up amidst immense hardship, he channeled his experiences into an unwavering determination to pursue his musical dreams. Despite facing challenges that would deter many, MHz Sammyx maintains a positive outlook and a relentless drive.

His stage name, MHz Sammyx, was adopted after being discovered by Kabs, CEO of Spark Light Angels. Initially, artists at the label were named after reptiles, but Kabs saw something unique in Sammyx, leading to his distinct moniker. While reserved offstage, MHz Sammyx transforms into an electrifying presence, delivering unforgettable performances. His early releases through Spark Light Angels gained significant traction, enjoying widespread airplay across major radio and television stations throughout East Africa.
