Mercy Whik

Arinda Mercy, known artistically as Mercy Whik, is a Runyankore R&B and Pop Gospel singer hailing from Ibanda, western Uganda. Her musical journey began at the tender age of five, when she placed third in a young vocalists competition at the National Theatre, an opportunity provided by her primary school.

Her first recorded performance was at her cousin's birthday, a pivotal moment that ignited her passion for R&B. This led to the creation of "Ohimbisibwe," a song that established her as an ambassador for young gospel artists in her district. Further successes include "Tihaine," which garnered significant airplay on Glory FM. As a devout Christian, Mercy Whik dedicates her ministry to spreading her faith through her music, with many more inspiring songs to come.
