MCM

MCM, born Magero Mathew, began his musical journey in school as a freestyle hip-hop emcee. He never mimes, drawing inspiration from a wide range of artists. During his school years, he formed a duo called Hustlerfarian Music with fellow rapper CK. Their track "#Bajjakwekanga" gained significant airplay on radio and television across Uganda. Though education led to a temporary pause for the duo, they continue to record together.

Currently, MCM is focused on his solo project, having recently released the hype hip-hop track "#Ekyana." He has cultivated a unique Afro-Hip Hop sound, deeply rooted in his Ugandan heritage. MCM credits his experiences at St. Balikuddembe S.S. Mitala Maria and the influence of hip-hop veterans like Babaluku for shaping his artistry.
