MC Sponge, born Kavuma Salim, is a Ugandan artist whose passion for music began at a young age. He launched his serious music career in 2012, joining Cloud Media Record Label. Performing across various platforms, MC Sponge gained significant traction in January when he released his hit single "Sipolingi." The track quickly went viral, enjoying widespread airplay across Uganda and dominating social media. He also has a notable single titled "Nakawa."
