MC LULIBA

MC Luliba, born Katumba Tonny Luliba, was raised by his mother, Nalubega Imeldah, and his loving maternal grandparents, the Salongo Sekyalo family. From a young age, MC Luliba gravitated towards hip-hop, pop, R&B, and reggae music. He honed his skills by performing for family at celebrations, captivating audiences with his natural rapping talent and strong voice for urban hip-hop.

His passion for performance extended to school, where he actively participated in drama and entertainment clubs. He organized impromptu performances during free lessons, earning him recognition and encouragement from teachers. This early success fueled his ambition, leading him to high school where he continued to develop his craft.

In high school, MC Luliba showcased his versatility as a battle rapper, emcee, and entertainer at various concerts. These experiences significantly boosted his confidence and solidified his aspirations of becoming a major showbiz icon.

He pursued a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Nkumba University. His musical journey took a significant turn when he was introduced to a recording studio by a friend. It was then that he co-founded the hip-hop group Hiphop Veterans, alongside Mc Sexton, Wyclif, and others, marking the beginning of his professional music career.
