Mc Kataala, also known as Kalaso and Asasira Egidio, is a multifaceted talent hailing from Mitooma district. A journalist by profession, he seamlessly blends his skills as a comedian, musician, songwriter, promoter, actor, and Director of Mc Promotions Ug. This organization is dedicated to nurturing talent, organizing events, and producing audio and video advertisements for radio and television.

Mc Kataala's educational journey has taken him through various primary and secondary schools, culminating in a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from Crane Media Institute in Kampala. His aptitude was further honed during his internship and subsequent employment at Hunter Communications Ltd, where he served as a News Sub Editor/Reporter and presenter for the Mugyebare Program and various talk shows.

His creative prowess extends to songwriting for other artists, including notable contributions to Lady Aisha's "Omuhwezi" and "Horace and Elijah Mushemeza." Mc Kataala has also showcased his acting talents with groups like FMF Films, Creative Child International, and Medard Media Films. His musical journey began with the release of popular tracks such as "Omuhwezi" and "Horace."
