Mc Benny Acholimuding

Mc Benny Acholimuding, also known as Mwaka Benson, is a driving force behind northern Uganda's vibrant hip-hop scene. He founded and directs a community-based organization dedicated to uniting rappers, breakdancers, graffiti artists, fashion enthusiasts, DJs, producers, and young farmers from the war-affected North.

Mc Benny is a multifaceted artist committed to creativity, rap instruction, performance, recording, motivational speaking, and community event hosting. He is also passionate about education, counseling, individual and community development, and amplifying the voices of the unheard.

His journey in hip-hop began with a passion for the art form, leading him to become a recognized talent in Uganda's hip-hop landscape. Despite challenges, Mc Benny remains steadfast in his mission, dedicating his time, talent, and creativity to empowering young artists and individuals across Uganda.

His influence extends beyond Uganda, having performed, taught, and facilitated workshops internationally, including a significant youth education program in Denmark. Mc Benny Acholimuding has made substantial contributions to peacebuilding efforts in northern Uganda and has been instrumental in nurturing emerging hip-hop talents, shaping young lives, and instilling hope across Uganda and globally.
