Maureen K

Maureen K. discovered her passion for music through school karaoke, inspired by Titan Takuba and role models Juliana Kanyomozi and Whitney Houston. Her talent shone at the annual Miss Sabrina's competition, which she won. She honed her skills leading church choirs for nine years before captivating audiences on Tusker Project Fame Season 3, securing fifth place.

Following her time on TPF, Maureen spent three years with the Fusion Band before embarking on a solo career. She has released one album and three singles, including collaborations with Bushoke ("Nakupenda"), Mr. Fantastic ("Ndikuwaki"), and Ziza Bafana ("Nzijja"). Her latest single, "Sweet Maria," is set for release soon.

Maureen K. is signed with LaMax Mesh Productions and leads her own band, Nyonza. Her musical aspirations extend beyond performance; she aims to use her platform to support needy children and promote youth education. This commitment is also reflected in her organization, Loving Arms.

A Munyoro/Mutooro by tribe, Maureen holds diplomas in Airways Tourism and Hotel Management, as well as Secretarial Studies. Her music is best described as Afro Fusion.
