Matrix

Beat Ya Matrix is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, record producer, and mixing engineer. Born and raised in Hoima City, he commands a diverse musical palette, excelling in genres like Afrobeats, Hip-hop, Dancehall, R&B, and Afropop, often performing in over four languages.

Matrix's musical journey began in his youth, discovered by the legendary gospel artist Pastor Robert Prince while singing in his Sunday school choir. By 2013, he was crafting songs for others and had developed a strong portfolio in production, writing, and performance. His breakthrough tracks include "This Is The Time" (the Presidential first track theme song supported by UNAIDS), "Abantu Babi," "Love Nigger," and "African Beauty."

Currently, Matrix is the CEO of Brainworx Music Label. He has recently released his singles "Lockdown" and "Ebiikuruma Abayaaye."
