Martha Kirabo

Martha Kirabo's music is born from a life forged in hardship and resilience. Raised on the streets of Nakulabye and Kasubi, her early years were a crucible of struggle. A profound moment of self-discovery, sparked by an online article on songwriting, ignited her creative fire. Inspired by a scene from the Brazilian series *Lado a Lado*, she penned her first lyric, "Rosemary Became Her."

Her journey continued with participation in the UK Songwriting Contest, where her contrafactum of Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence," titled "Weight of Emptiness," earned a commendable entry and a five-star rating. Martha's songs weave narratives drawn from her personal experiences, dreams, desires, and ambitions, offering a powerful and authentic voice.
