Mariam Macqueen

Mariam Macqueen is a Ugandan artist specializing in Islamic faith-based music, also known as Nasheed. Under the Effekts Media label, she has established herself as both a performing and recording artist. Her debut single, "Gwe Weka Allah," garnered significant airplay across various television stations. This success led to the release of her self-titled album, "Gwe Weka Allah," featuring tracks such as "Jukira Allah," "Tassa Umah" (featuring Nafat Siiver), "Names of Allah," "Ramadhan," and "Insha Allah."

Mariam has graced numerous events, including the Islamic Fashion Show and the Hijab and Kanzu Show, as well as private ceremonies like weddings and duwas. Beyond her musical endeavors, Mariam Macqueen actively participates in charity drives and produces audio and visual Quran recitations.
