Maria A

Maria A is a celebrated Ugandan artist, recognized as a leading talent in Northern Uganda, a significant music market. She began her career while in Kampala, driven to empower women within the male-dominated industry. Her music, sung in multiple languages, resonates nationwide, focusing on themes of family care, hard work, respect, and love, earning her the affectionate title "Love Doctor."

Maria A has released two successful albums, establishing herself as a pioneering female artist from Northern Uganda. With roots in Eastern Uganda, a childhood in the central region, and experience with a live band in South Sudan, she is a role model inspiring many women to pursue music.

She has collaborated with prominent artists like Lucky Bosmic Otim, Victor J, and Lincoln, as well as acclaimed producers such as Nerio and Joxx. Maria A has also garnered award nominations and wins, including Artist of the Year and Female Artist of the Year.

Now heading her own record label, Maria A Management, she continues to create new music.
