Lotfil

Lotfil, born Mayega Frank, is a multifaceted artist whose talents extend far beyond music. Initially recognized for his extraordinary football skills, drawing comparisons to legends like Maradona and Messi, Lotfil also excelled academically and in athletics. This abundance of passion and ability led to the creation of his stage name, Lotfil, a reflection of being "a lot filled."

His musical journey began in primary school with a powerful song addressing the massacres in Northern Uganda, a piece that resonated deeply with his peers. He honed his songwriting and vocal abilities throughout high school, with significant guidance from his brother, Sebulime Roger's Martin.

While pursuing a degree in Accounting and Finance and later a professional accounting course, Lotfil continued to nurture his musical aspirations. Music, he explains, is an inescapable force, with lyrics constantly surfacing and demanding to be written down. He views music as both a therapy and an irresistible passion.

Influenced by the lyrical prowess of Radio, Lotfil's distinctive wordplay echoes the late artist's style. Currently signed under C&A Music, he is preparing to release "Tuvuga Kampala," a track that vividly portrays the contrasting realities of Ugandan life – the daily struggles juxtaposed with nocturnal revelry, and a commentary on the financial expectations within relationships.

Looking ahead, Lotfil is driven by a desire to uplift others, believing that helping people is life's ultimate purpose.
